Wilderness Photography of Tasmania

Printing

All of my photos are available for sale as prints, matted and mounted prints, framed artworks, and also available on canvas. All standard sizes available, as well as special requests.

I only use professional printing laboratories, industry leading printing companies that have built a reputation with me in providing me with exceptional printing and colour consistency. Of course my computer monitors are calibrated.

Prints will be on archival quality photo paper, either 200-year Archive Quality Kodak Professional Supra Endura silver halide paper or Fuji Crystal Archive silver halide paper.

I do not do any of my own printing. When you purchase my photographs, you can be sure you are getting the highest possible quality results available in the industry today.

Matting

Photos are mounted to Foam core acid free foam board and matted using a choice of matt colours. Matt boards are used to prevent the glass in a frame from touching the print, and to enhance the presentation of what is being framed.

Standard colours include Arctic White, Pearl, Sage, Williamsburg Blue, Williamsburg Green, Photo Grey, Dark Grey, and Smooth Black. Other colours are available on request.

Framing

Frames are all custom built using Tasmanian Oak hardwood. The timber is sealed using a water based clear (minimum 3 coats), to protect the timber and allow the natural colours of the timber to compliment the artwork.

Other Tasmanian timbers are available on request, subject to supply.
